Employees Are Our Greatest Asset

At OppenheimerFunds, we've built a winning organization through a partnership between the Company and our employees. This reciprocal relationship provides the Company with the means to be successful in our competitive industry, while ensuring OppenheimerFunds' employees have a true stake in the Company's future and the opportunity to build a rewarding career.

OppenheimerFunds' success has and will continue to be driven by our greatest asset: our people. For nearly 50 years, OppenheimerFunds' employees have helped shape a winning, entrepreneurial-based culture fueled by a commitment to our shareholders and our Corporate Values.

Our Corporate Values

OppenheimerFunds' Corporate Values form the foundation of how we conduct business and define the behaviors, attitudes and philosophies that guide our Company. We are deeply committed to these Values and aspire to incorporate them into everything we do, knowing that our success is measured equally by what we achieve and how we achieve it. As we continue to grow and develop, these Values will remain the core of our ongoing success.

We pursue excellence in all that we do, across all business lines, at every level and in every position. Driven to be the best, we embrace challenges and look for opportunities to innovate, striving to exceed the expectations of our clients.

Integrity is fundamental to our organization: Our business and reputation are built on acting in the best interest of investors. We always do what is fair, honest and honorable. More simply, we do the right thing.

Collaboration is the creative spark of the individual unselfishly shared with others. It focuses on a common goal and is achieved through our diverse ideas, skills and experiences. No single group is responsible for our success. Our teams celebrate the entrepreneurial spirit. Our people want to help each other succeed.

We approach our work with conviction and a strong desire to win—holding ourselves and each other accountable for our actions, and continuously reaching for outstanding results. We make disciplined decisions, act with a sense of urgency, and communicate openly, honestly and courageously. This allows us to anticipate and respond to the needs of our investors, business partners and colleagues.

Employee Engagement Strategy

In the increasingly competitive asset management industry, it is imperative to build a reputation as a desirable company, one that talented individuals want to work for and stay with throughout their careers. At OppenheimerFunds, the "full-circle experience" of working at our Company includes both tangible items such as compensation, benefits and job structure, and intangibles such as the company's values, unique culture and business philosophy.

OppenheimerFunds' Employee Engagement Strategy is our plan to succeed and win through the Company's commitment to providing employees with meaningful work, inspirational leadership and development opportunities in a balanced work/life environment. To create our own unique form of employee engagement, we've focused on four key components (to learn more click on the appropriate box on the right): Leadership Commitment, Learning & Growth, Communication Recognition and Organization Flexibility.
