NEW YORK, Oct. 12, 2015 – OppenheimerFunds, a leading global asset manager, today announced that James White joined the firm as Head of Diversity & Inclusion. In this role, White will be responsible for advancing inclusion as a core value and competitive advantage of the firm. White will be based in New York and will report to Andrew Doyle, OppenheimerFunds’ Chief Human Resources Officer.

Prior to joining OppenheimerFunds, White served as Vice President, Americas Diversity & Inclusion, at Credit Suisse, where he provided strategic leadership on creating an inclusive culture. He previously served as Human Capital Project Lead for the Investment Bank at Credit Suisse. Before that, White held a series of positions with increasing responsibility in Human Resources at Bank of America Merrill Lynch.
“James brings robust experience and understanding across diversity and inclusion efforts that will help our firm build upon and enhance already established initiatives and programs. These efforts include looking at diverse slates of candidates when recruiting, building a strong culture of collaboration, and opening dialogue and driving action through our employee resource groups,” said Doyle.
