Director of Growth Equities, Senior Vice President and Senior Portfolio Manager

Neil M. McCarthy serves as the head of the Oppenheimer Growth Equity Investment Team which manages assets across several mutual funds, variable accounts and sub-advised portfolios. He is also the lead Senior Portfolio Manager of the Oppenheimer Rising Dividends Fund and has over 30 years of investment management experience.
Mr. McCarthy joined the Oppenheimer Growth Equity Investment Team in January of 2007. From 2003 to 2006, he was the Chairman and Chief Investment Officer of the Windham Capital Management division of OFI Institutional Asset Management, Inc. where he oversaw the Investment Policy and Strategy Committee as well as the Portfolio Management Group.

Prior to joining the Oppenheimer Funds family in 2003, Mr. McCarthy was the Founder, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of a privately owned SEC registered investment advisory firm headquartered in New York City. His responsibilities included oversight and direction for all investment management activities, strategic planning and business operations. Mr. McCarthy began his career in the Institutional Equity Management Division of Bankers Trust Company.

Mr. McCarthy is a graduate of the College of the Holy Cross where he received his B.S. degree in Economics. He is a member of the Association for Investment Management and Research and the New York Society of Security Analysts.
