Senior Portfolio Manager
Stuart Cartner serves as senior portfolio manager of Oppenheimer SteelPath MLP Alpha Fund, Oppenheimer SteelPath MLP Income Fund, Oppenheimer SteelPath MLP Select 40 Fund, and Oppenheimer SteelPath MLP Alpha Plus Fund.
Prior to joining SteelPath in 2007, Stuart was an advisor in the Private Wealth Management Division of Goldman Sachs. During his 19-year tenure, he was responsible for managing a $200 million portfolio of midstream MLPs, garnering a deep understanding of the individual companies, macro fundamentals the investor psychology which drives the space. Through his membership in a broader investment team with $3 billion under management, he has diverse investing and risk management experience across the public and private equity and derivatives spaces. Previously, he worked at Trammell Crow Company and General Electric.
Stuart received a B.S. in finance and management from Indiana University and an M.B.A. in finance and marketing with distinction from the Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University.
