James C. Ayer, CFA
James Ayer serves as portfolio manager of Oppenheimer International Value Fund and related strategies.
Before rejoining OppenheimerFunds in February 2013, James was a portfolio manager, general partner and member of the Executive Management Committee at Tiedemann Investment Group where he founded the Tiedemann/Ayer Asian Growth Fund. Previously, James worked on the Global Equity team at OppenheimerFunds focusing on the Asia Pacific region, commodities and smaller cap companies. He began his investment career as an international equities research analyst with Brown Brothers Harriman & Co.
James received his B.A. from Yale University in economics and political science and his M.A. from Oxford University. He is a CFA® charterholder.
