The Oppenheimer SteelPath funds are available in the Portfolio Builder program, with the exception of Oppenheimer SteelPath MLP Income Fund, which is currently closed to new investors. The funds available in the Portfolio Builder program are:
- Oppenheimer SteelPath MLP Select 40 Fund
- Oppenheimer SteelPath MLP Alpha Fund
- Oppenheimer SteelPath MLP Alpha Plus Fund
Please note that the Oppenheimer SteelPath funds are not currently available for any 403(b) product, including through Portfolio Builder.
As a result of onboarding the Oppenheimer SteelPath funds to Portfolio Builder, we made some enhancements to the website. Self-service functionality for cost basis has been added to both the investor and advisor websites. This allows you and your client to select the desired cost basis method for each Oppenheimer fund selected under the Portfolio Builder account. Please note that Oppenheimer SteelPath funds use First-in-First-Out (FIFO) as their default cost basis method due to their C Corporation status. All other Oppenheimer funds use Average Cost as their default cost basis method.
We are excited about the addition of the Oppenheimer SteelPath funds to Portfolio Builder and the added functionality we’ve rolled out. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact us.
