We will be adding new functionality that will require additional authentication by advisors logging into our website to view client account information. Impacted advisors will be emailed the exact timing of this rollout prior to launch. This verification step will only impact those advisors with full access to view client information.

Once introduced, this new functionality will authenticate the device you are using to login to our advisor website. When logging in, you will be asked to select an email address or phone number you would like a validation code sent to. Once you receive the code, it will need to be entered when prompted during the login process.

In preparation of this additional verification step, when logging into your account, you will be prompted with a pop-up to validate your current contact information. This step will help ensure you have all email addresses and phone numbers you would like to use for this verification step once launched. If there is an additional email address you would like to use for this validation process, it can be added to the alternate email field.

Helpful Tips

  • Receiving a code may take up to 5 minutes depending on your email or phone service provider.
  • If you do not receive a validation code within 5 minutes, check the spam or junk mail folders. Some email providers will sort the validation code email there.
  • The validation code is valid for 20 minutes only. If the code is used after that amount of time, it will be invalid and the process needs to be repeated to generate a new code.
  • Completing this process will not be required for every login, but will vary. Items that may result in needing to repeat the process include significant changes or updates to your device and browser combination (e.g. Laptop/Internet Explorer or iPad/Safari).
