The third principle is consistency. More people have failed due to lack of consistency than the violation of any other principle; doing the right thing “occasionally” always ends badly. Consistency requires the support of patience and persistence. Anything worth building takes time – as our society becomes more frenetic, reactive and impatient, we don’t practice the patient consistency necessary to nurture profound permanence of our truly successful transformation, both personally and professionally.
